NSW: One dead, another badly injured in collision near Tamworth

SYDNEY, April 10 AAP - A man has died and another has been seriously injured in a car
collision in northern NSW.

The accident occurred about 12.30pm (AEDT) on Saturday, when a northbound car collided
with a southbound car on the New England Highway, about 25km south of Tamworth, police
said.

At 3pm (AEDT) police advised the highway was likely to be closed for up to three hours,
with diversions in place.
